Baseline emissions footprint

Baseline year: 2023 We are a young, small company we have only started tracking our emissions in 2023. Therefore our Baseline and our Current emissions are the same. We are committed to managing our impact on the environment, so we want to build a business that has good practices in place from the start.

Emissions reduction targets

Our current T per employee to 12tCO2e in 2024 we plan to reduce our emissions to 10.5tCO2e per employee in 2024

Completed carbon reduction initiatives

  • Recycling scheme for our products: After 12 months, Veraco customers return the products to us, and we transform used products into new ones or into something completely new, reducing waste and minimising our environmental impact.
  • Our products are manufactured in the UK. We aim to ensure the materials needed to produce our products are from the UK or as close to the UK as possible

Planned Carbon Reduction Initiatives by March 2026

  • Reduce the weight of your packaging – Sourcing
    lightweight materials to reduce fuels needed to
    transport
  •  Reduce travel and commute – use trains instead of
    car as much as possible. Use video conferencing
    where possible. Look at electric vehicle options for
    future company vehicles
  •  We continue our work on a Life Cycle Assessment
    of our products and display it on our website. We
    use this information to help us with our emissions
    reduction plan
  •  Work with our suppliers to ensure they have
    carbon reduction plan place

Declaration and sign off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard 1 and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting 2.

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard 3.

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
